Help2care member was present at the NursID 2018 - International Nursing Research Week 

NURSID International Research Week 2018 is an event joining together researchers in Nursing organized by NURSID - CINTESIS.  The research week occurred in July, 9th to 13th organized in workshops, 8 thematic seminars, project exhibitions, doctoral students' meeting and an international congress, composed by poster presentations, oral communications, conferences, round tables and debates. The aim was  to provide a space for sharing knowledge, experiences and evidences resulting from research, in order to foster the opportunities for establishing partnerships between researchers, with emphasis on research projects under development in the NURSID Group of CINTESIS and UNIESEP. Ana Querido attended the week and presented Help2Care - a ciTechCare project and presented an oral communication focused on The self-care needs of the dependent person at the time of discharge from an acute care hospital.

Help2Care Project was distinguished on the Compete 2020 Newsletter

The project Hep2care was distinguished on the issue n.º 162 of Compete 2020 Newsletter (july).This is a joint project between IPLeiria– (promoting entity), the Polytechnic Institute of Santarem, the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, and the Leiria Hospital Center. Funding: 149k from Compete 2020 trough Support System for Scientific Research.

Help2care was present at the Science Meeting 2018

Science 2018 is another edition of the annual meeting of Portuguese researchers.   It aims to promote the broad debate of the main themes and challenges of the scientific agenda beyond the universe of research. The conference took place on July 2 at Centro de Congressos de Lisboa. The Science Meeting 2018 was attended by Maria dos Anjos Dixe.

Help2care members attended the I International Congress of Food and Nutrition

Nutrition in the society of information” was the theme of the 2018 edition of Congress of Food and Nutrition (XVII) organized by the Portuguese Association of Nutrition, which was also the I International Congress of Food and Nutrition. This scientific event aiming to promote equal access to science for health care professionals, particularly nutritionists, took place on May 10th and 11th at Lisbon Congress Center. Dietetic and Nutrition students and professors (from the School Of Health Sciences, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria) attended with a poster presentation.

Help2care members attended the X Congreso Hispano Luso de Estudiantes de Enfermería from 26th to 27th of April 2018

The congress joined together students and nurses from Portugal and Spain, under the theme of Nursing without limits. X Congreso Hispano Luso de Estudiantes de Enfermería is a join venture event aiming to maintain intercultural contact of students, professionals and professors of Nursing of Portugal and Spain; facilitate students participation in workshops to completing their training; present research projects carried out by nursing students, professionals and nursing professors.  Maria dos Anjos Dixe and Ana Querido attended the Congress as Nursing professors in the Project Help2Care. Nursing students Anaísa Israel and Marta Oliveira participate by presenting the experience of students participating in Help2Care from the perspective of interdisciplinary learning of research.  Students paper "Colaboração interdisciplinar em saúde: perceção dos estudantes do projeto Help2Care" were awarded the best oral communication.
